I've opened sump housing to check for clogging but it was clean. When I removed check valve to inspect it I've found out that the round part of the valve was missing so I figured it might've blocked the water exit at drain hose or something like that. So I pulled the dishwasher out to get a full access to drain hose connector and the pump. When our 8 year old dishwasher started acting up my initial reaction was to simply replace it. It was a learning experience. First I turned off the power! I removed the lower kick plate, disconnected the drain hose and electrical connectors. Then removed the discharge pump and heat sensor then loosened the 4 hold down arms/clamps. Then I opened the door and pulled the base up from the inside. Now to remove and replace the Pump Motor. Then reverse the process. If I were to do again, I'd pull the dishwasher out and lay it on its back. Read more

Replaced the upper spray arm tube with a new one. Also replaced delivery tube grommet and the delivery tube gasket. Now everything works fine and no more leaks. Read more

I got on appliance parts pros website, looked up my model number. Using their diagrams I found my part. Ordered it and replaced it, just like the new one. Read more

The hardest part was figuring out what the replacement part was. Once I figured it out, I bought a replacement water intake part, replaced the whole part. Took about 5 minutes, easy peasy! Read more
