As mentioned, our Whirlpool Dishwasher would complete the cycle but Tablet pretty much sat in the Soap Dispenser Box nor there was any sign of water inside the Dishwasher. This happened 2 - 3 times. I replaced the solenoid valve and trimmed a small amount of the tubing that serves the ice maker and water dispenser. The only problem was there is almost NO slack in that tubing. If you trim more than a half inch off, you won't have enough tubing to connect it on both ends. Read more

Conducted research on web, and via direct contact with AppliancePros where a diagnosis of replacing the water inlet valve and cleaning the sensor tube would "most probably" (80%) handle the issue. The remaining uncertainty would reside in the electronic board circuitry. Replaced the water inlet valve assembly. That reduced the leakage to a smaller amount but did not fully stop the leakage. Replaced the ice maker assembly and that completed the repair. No leakage issues and ice maker is working with no issues. Read more

First I replaced the filter thinking it was the problem, but that was not the case. Next was replace water supply valve at the back of the refrigerator. It was very easy. The only thing that was in question was how to get the refrigerator side line off of the existing valve. There is a plastic slide clip that you remove and pull the line out and press the line back into the port it came out of. It was a very simple project and took about 20 minutes. Read more

Once I was convinced that the water supply and filter wasn't the problem, I took the back protective panel and looked at the valve assembly. It looked corroded, especially on top where the ?pistons for the solenoids?would project into. I ordered the part and it was on my doorstep in TWO days...really fast. 1. I unplugged the washer from outlet 2. I turned off the hot and cold water taps going to the washer (both just in case) 3. Draped a towel over back edge of washer and under where hoses coming from water outlets attach to back of washer (to catch any loose water out of the hose or screw nozzle leading to valve assembly, then unscrew (by hand) the cold water hose from back of washer (leave hot water hose alone as not needed). 4. The hot inlet valve was dripping water, replaced it. Water and soap were coming out of the vent pipe. The new Float assembly had a shorter shaft than the old Float Assembly I was replacing. I did install the new Float Assembly and cleaned the vent hose where the float seats and I haven't seen any more water on the floor. Both repairs were made easy by watching your repair videos.
