Kitchenaid Dishwasher Hinge Parts

• Noisy
• Door won't close
• Door latch failure

I finally decided to repair my dishwasher because the door would free fall to the floor possibly breaking the hinges. Also the top shelf was rolling out on its own every time the door was opened. Well after spending more then 30 minutes, and with the assistance of a great Consumer Support Tech, Mr. Curtis(first name), we finally figured out how to ajust a "simple" adjustment bolt in my Kitchen Aid miser. Watched your very helpful and informative "how to" video and replaced both right and left hinges. Getting the front panel to line up on the clips was the most difficult part. Read more

We scoured the web and there are few references to this so I want to add it in case it helps. Replacing hinges solved the popping opening issue. We could not solve our dishwasher door issue after a number of other tries: Latch, Catch, Ropes that attach to the springs that pull the door closed. I tend to believe the solve could be different b/c all these things work together. But for us, we were skeptical that the hinge swap would work and we were very pleasantly surprised. Read more
