This fan belt transfers motor power to the appliance fan so the fan can move air as designed. Replacing a worn or broken belt restores proper airflow and helps reduce noise or overheating from reduced circulation. What it does:

  • Wraps around the motor and fan pulley to drive the fan blade
  • Restores fan rotation when a cracked, stretched, or broken belt prevents normal operation
  • Helps return proper airflow for cooling and ventilation, reducing stress on the motor
  • Reduces unusual noises caused by slipping or damaged belts
What's included: One replacement fan belt Install notes:
  • Disconnect power (unplug or switch off breaker) before starting any repair
  • Remove access panels as needed to reach the motor and fan assembly; note belt routing before removal
  • Fit belt to motor pulley and fan pulley, ensuring correct alignment and tension per the appliance design
  • Reassemble panels, restore power, and run a short test to verify normal fan operation; discontinue use if abnormal noise or vibration persists
