After disconnecting power, removed rear access panel. belt was already off. Removed bolt washers at center of pulley, removed pulley.installed new pulley on to drum shaft. Installed washers and bolt with blue thread locker applied to threads. Installed new belt. Reinstalled rear access panel. Reconnect to power. good to go! Read more

Called a Maytag repair man, said "the bumpers are no longer available". These little things are actually critical to operation, because the lid safety switch needs to be pressed back far enough to sense that the lid is closed, and without the bumpers, this is a little iffy. We watched the video before we purchased the parts for this project. We wanted to make sure exactly what parts we would need. Thanks for having this information available. We purchased the mounting stem repair kit,,tub bearing kit, 3 new bolt/washers that hold the outer tub in place and the spanner wrench. Cleaned everything... I replaced the drive block & leveling feet, it helped a lot but the washer still shakes a lot, I am now going to try replacing the suspension rod kit, These were the most recommended fixes to the problem.The repairs were not too hard, I wish I had a spanner wrench, I couldn't find it on the website.
