This is a genuine replacement spark arrestor kit that is used with certain styles and models of chainsaws. The spark arrestor kit will attach to the cylinder gasket and is designed to catch any particles that are coming from the engine that are hot or likely to create a fire risk. This ensures that the internal combustion engine can operate effectively. When the spark arrestor is damaged or worn, or if pieces go missing, it will not be able to give the engine the protection from flammable debris that it needs. This OEM authentic spark arrestor kit is manufactured by Poulan and compatible with over 50 of the chainsaws that are made by the brand. This kit includes the screen, the metal arrestor, and the nut that connects the components and helps secure the entire assembly to the engine's cylinder gasket.
