I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. After reviewing the 'how to' video on AppliancePartsPros.com, I unplugged the refrigerator and removed the back cover to access the motor. I then unplugged the wiring and removed the bad motor. I cut the clip plug and wired it to the new motor, installed the fan blade from the old motor and re-installed the new motor. The fridge is 20+ years old in a home we recently moved into. It sounded like a motor getting stuck on something or grinding weird... was hoping it wasn't something more serious. I am not new to APP, fixed a tub belt on a Maytag dryer in the past. My frig started getting warm so I went onto to one of those "lists" sites and found a appliance repair place. One day my wife went to bake something and the bake/broil buttons as well as #3, #9, and oven light ceased to work. Local repair guy came by and wanted to charge $500 to fix it....YEAH RIGHT! Maytag Dishwasher (about 5 years old). Some of the buttons had stopped functioning. Then the Start button began choosing whether or not to work. Eventually it would not start at all. Replaced the water tube that went from the plastic tubing to the ice cube tray. Found that even though it was the same exact length as the original, there was only an extremely small gap from the end of the tube to a splash board. This may have been the root cause of my problems. Read more

Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process. Tested start relay and fan with multimeter both passed. The condenser would start only if the thermostat was on the highest setting and the refrigerator would cool for a while, stop and not restart unless I adjusted the defrost timer. Decided to replace the thermostat, defrost timer and defrost thermostat. The refrigerator is working as expected. FYI on a Kenmore 59669142992 the defrost timer is located under the freezer in the front right. Read more
