This vent tube directs airflow or drainage away from internal components to the appliance vent opening, helping maintain proper venting and reduce buildup. A simple replacement when the original tube is cracked, split, or disconnected. What it does:
- Routes vented air or condensate from internal ducts to the exterior vent
- Restores proper airflow path when the original tube is damaged or collapsed
- Helps prevent leaks or pooling caused by cracked or disconnected vent tubing
- Reduces chances of performance issues related to restricted venting
What's included: One vent tube. Install notes:
- Disconnect power (and gas supply on gas appliances) before starting any repair.
- Inspect surrounding ducts and seals; replace any damaged clamps or connectors for a secure fit.
- Push or clamp the tube fully onto both mating fittings to prevent leaks; secure with the proper fasteners.
- Use basic hand tools.

The bearing on the dryer drum wore out so bad the ball fell off Thomas J. • Green Bay , WI • October 31, 2016
I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.
