For Frigidaire Oven Control Board (Part Number: OEM6381225)

Isaac for Model Number Frigidaire Gleb27scbb

My electric wall oven model #Frigidaire Gleb27scbb will not go above 210 on any mode. The trouble started when it was on reg bake mode and it was switched to convection mode or the other way around. A slight sizzle was herd. The oven continued making its clicking noise as if switching temp, but nothing really happened. It doesn't go past 210. I tried resetting the oven by turning off breaker to no avail. Whats most probably wrong with it?

Isaac, You will want to check from L1 to bake and see if you have 240 vac with the unit turned on bake. If the unit has 240 vac then check the bake element to see if there is 240 vac across the terminals. If there is not 240 vac present then you will need to replace the control board.

Ray, Aside from checking the wiring on the unit to make sure that there are no shorted wires, yes the clock timer would be the most likely cause of failure.

Hello Jason. I would suggest having the power company come out and install a home surge protector on the house. That is the only way to protect the 240 volt units.
