1 Answer JC, The light socket will only have 2 wires that will go to it and will not matter which terminal each wire is connected to. As for the door switch, this will be where you will want to check. On the door switch, there will be lettering. There will be COM, NO, and NC. Each wire has a specific location on this switch and miswiring it can cause issues. The brown wire with a yellow stripe will go on the terminal labeled NO. 1 Answer Hello Will, You can unplug the unit or turn off the breaker to it and use a pair of needle nosed pliers to grasp the metal threaded part of the bulb WE05X20431 and twist it counterclockwise. This will eventually remove the remaining part of the bulb. You should be careful removing this part from the pliers since it can still cut you.
