Bob At Carlisle December 21, 2013 for Model Number GSD6700GOOCC Whenever you close the door to wash, Rinse only light comes on. When you push the Start/Reset button, the Rinse only light as well as the Sensing and Rinsing lights are on. Unit goes into rinsing function, does a partial rinse with hot water and shuts off.
1 Answer Bob, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a stuck key on the console. You will want to disconnect the power to reset the unit. Once reset then try to run a cycle and if the problem persist then you would want to replace the keypad. Read More...
Pattie December 18, 2013 for Model Number PDW 8680J00SS I have a Module Control ASM and need some instructions on how to install it. I have just been with ask a pro, and they have instructed me to get the information from you here. How do I install this Module Control Asm.? Thanks.
1 Answer Pattie, To install the control module assembly you will first need to turn the power off to the unit. Open the door and remove the screws around the perimeter of the door in order to access the control panel. Once the control panel is accessed you will remove the wiring from the control module and take out the control module. Install the new one. Read More...

Pattie December 18, 2013 for Model Number PDW 8680J00SS All the lights on my dishwasher door are working except the start button. What do you think the problem could be. I have ordered the module control Asm. but am hesitant to try installing it if it could be the Key Pad or a miss alignment of the latch.
1 Answer Hello Pattie. Most likely the door switches or the control panel is bad and will need to be replaced. Problem is the control panel is NLA. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Mary January 14, 2013 for Model Number PDW7800G00BB When you push any button on the front control nothing happens. No lights come on, nothing. I'm thinking it is the module control assembly that needs to be replaced, #AP3203951. Am I correct?
1 Answer Hello Mary, First check the breaker. If it is not tripped, flip it off and back on. now remove the kick panel and check inside the power connection box for burned wire nuts. If they appear to be fine, you should still pull on each wire to make sure they are secure in the wire nuts. If they are all tight and voltage is present at this point, you will need to open the inner door panel and check the door switches. If the switches are good, check for power to the control. If power is supplied to the control and not exiting the board, the board has failed. There should be a mini manual in the base of the unit. If you remove the kick panel and look up at the bottom of the tub you should see a folded piece of paper stuck between a metal heat shield and the plastic tub assembly. This will have troubleshooting information and a wiring diagram on it to assist in your repair. On this design, I would first suspect a door switch if power is getting to it. Read More...
Steve December 27, 2012 for Model Number GE Dishwasher PDW7800G00BB Dishwasher will not fill with water. There is no power to the water valve or the flood switch. I took the front off and there is no power coming from the control module (control circuit board) on the power switching terminal #2 pink wire. When I go into the service mode and enter the code to test each component I get power for each component other than the test to activate the water valve. Is the control module bad? Or is there another test I need to perform?
1 Answer Hello Steve. Make sure the float switch is working properly. If so, then you will need to order and replace the control module WD21X10174. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
