Eric for Model Number PDS22MISBWW

The freezer and refrigerator are cold one minute and then hours later they warm up. Evaporator fan is running and Condenser is warm and humming. At times the refrigerator will make a loud rattling noise when running and then it stops and is quite. I’m just not sure if it’s the damper or the evaporator motor. Assumption, if both the Freezer and Refrigerator get warm then cold simultaneously, then I’m thinking it’s a faulty Evaporator Motor???

Eric, At this point we would agree with you. Based on your information and description, the problem is most likely a faulty evaporator fan motor WR60X10196 / WR60X10196. DCV fan motors do have a tendency to operate intermittently or not at all, when they start to fail. Just make sure the connections are good and tight when you replace/install the new motor assembly.

Rafael, With the lights turning on and off and the unit making a clicking sound, with no fans running then the issue will end up being a faulty control board.

Hello Jason, You will need to check the compressor. If it is not running you should check to see if it is hot or cold. If cold and running, the unit has most likely lost its' Freon charge. If it is hot and running, the sealed system probably has a restriction. If the compressor is hot and not running, the start relay WR07X26748 or the control board WR55X10942C could be the issue.
