Tim June 21, 2016 for Model Number LSC27926SW I have a LG side-by-side model LSC27926SW. The ice maker is making ice, but won't dump the ice into the bin. The plastic arm is stuck in the up position and won't move. Advice?
1 Answer Tim, This issue would mean that the icemaker would need to be replaced if the arm is not coming down. There is a test button on the bottom of the motor and see if it will cycle. If it does then the issue will be within the icemaker. Read More...
Mike June 18, 2016 for Model Number LG side by side LSC27925 The ice machine is filling the tray with too much water. Where is the set screw to reduce the time the water flows?
1 Answer Hello Mike, There is no "set screw" on the water inlet valve. Most of the time this is caused by low water pressure to the refrigerator or a failing water valve 5221JA2006D. Read More...

John O February 21, 2016 for Model Number LG refrigerator LFX31925ST LG refrigerator, 2 door model LFX31925ST, ice maker won't dump ice. It makes a repetitive loud thumping noise. The temporary remedy is to shut the icemaker off and use a hair dryer to release cubes. Then the tray roles back up and starts normal after turning icemaker back on. Then, after it makes more ice to fill bin, above action has to be repeated.
1 Answer John, The most likely cause for the unit to not eject the ice would be a faulty thermistor or sensor on the icemaker which would require a new icemaker assembly. Read More...
Scrappygoofy January 08, 2016 for Model Number LFX31925ST/02 My ice maker does make ice. We tested the rotation and it's not completely rotating. It is making ice, but when it rotates to dump it, it kind of stays still on the right side. The left side will rotate, while the right side will stay like something is stopping it from continuing rotating. So, it dumps very little ice, and not very often Thank you
1 Answer Scrappygoofy, The right side should rotate around to a certain point. If it is not doing this then look for anything that would be blocking it. If there is nothing then it would be a issue of a faulty icemaker. Read More...
