Ken May 29, 2019 for Model Number KP2671XAC My planetary drops down about 1/2" doesn't fall out pin is still in place. Was wondering if I need a new planetary and if so do you have one in Almond color
1 Answer Ken, I would think you will need to remove the top and check the center shaft for damage. There is a dowel pin that holds that shaft into place. If the dowel shaft is damaged it will drop the center shaft down and the planetary will drop also. Read More...

Joe June 03, 2014 for Model Number kp2671x The planetary falls off but the shaft stays in the mixer. The pin keeps the shaft in. It looks like maybe the shaft is(was) pressed into the white housing with maybe a bushing in the housing. Are these wear parts, the "bushing" and shaft? Can they be replaced or should I just replace the planetary assembly? Thank you.
1 Answer Joe, There should be a pin that holds the planetary in place which sounds like it may have sheared off. You will want to look for this pin remove and replace. Read More...

Titus March 05, 2013 for Model Number KP2671XWH Is AP3997015 planetary compatible with my mixer? These KitchenAid model numbers are a little confusing to me. What is the difference between KP2671XWH and KP2671-3? Also why do I not see the spring that holds the beater tight on the picture of the planetary?
