Charles K October 19, 2011 for Model Number mah6500awq Put the new board on and still end up with LR now what? ck
1 Answer Hello Charles. You will need to check and see if the motor WP22003856 is turning on the unit. If not, check the ohms of the motor. It should read around 6.2- 6.9 ohms. If it is bad, and the motor control board is new, you will need to replace the motor. Make sure all the connections on the unit are good, and no wires are broken on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Charles K October 11, 2011 for Model Number mah6500awq Got the replacement control board, thanks. before I change it,I ran the SD Service Mode again and here are some of the codes: Normal 7F Wrinkle Free unable to make out the weird code Quick 00 Spin 00 Lite Soil 05. Del 00 Rinse OE Presoak d LR Quick 30 Would like your input before I change the part again. thanks, CK
1 Answer Charles, Did you also run the board output test, and other tests ? Not all the codes you supplied are correct but, the LR code indicates the motor did not run, 05 indicates a continuous off balanced load,7F ? and OE is a water fill error, but does not apply to your machine ? Get the new board in and run the unit. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...

Charles K September 28, 2011 for Model Number mah6500awq Can we start over? Didn't get an answer to my last question and the other responses didn't apply to my model. This is where I am at installed door latch assembly. Now, it won't spin what can I do. Please. CK
1 Answer Hello Charles. Here is what the manufacture says to check for no spin. Hope this helps. Make sure the door lock light is on. If not, make sure the wax motor is locking the door. If it is not moving, check for power to the wax motor. If there is power, replace the wax motor. No power, replace the control board. If the door lock light does come on, make sure all the out of balance switches on the tub are good and the connections going to them are good. If so, you will need to replace the machine control board WP22004257. Hope this helps. Read More...
