Larry July 10, 2011 for Model Number MAH3000Aww I have a Maytag Neptune Washer that won't start when I press the button, the repair manual says to replace the Control Board but the board looks new. There are no burn't spots and the R11 looks fine. The Board was replaced about three years ago. How can I tell it's really the Control Board or could it be something else?
1 Answer Hello Larry. You can test and see if there is power coming to the control board. If there is power there, but the machine does not come on, you will need to replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
