Simone April 06, 2011 I have a maytag washer about 16yrs old. It works fine for washing the dial doesn't go completely throught the washing mode stops at filling or before and will no go further hums. It is an older machine never had any problem except now the dial misfunction. Is this an easy part to remove and reininstall and is it worth fixing? I can not get to the model number it is on the top of the control panel where the dials are. It is a top loading regular wash and permenant press on dial.
