Michael, We will need a little more info to help you out. What state is the unit in? ex. unit is dead or lights flashing on the display and will not respond. Will it do anything at all like drain or fill only. Try killing power to the unit from the breaker box for a couple of minutes and see if anything changes. Please post another question with all your info included thank you.

Barbara, The model number listed is not coming up as being a valid model. Try disconnecting power to the unit for 15 minutes and if this does not correct the issue then it sounds as though the control panel may need to be replaced.

Gary W for Model Number WDF510PAYW8

Water will not heat above faucet temperature. No heat during drying cycle. I have checked resistance on heating coil. Shows good. Hi temp switch was disconnected but checked ok. Reconnected it. Shows good. Appliance repair guy told my wife the drain wasn't right. Unit run fine until about 6 months ago. Can't believe drain was the problem. Water that is in machine is just drops where it didn't dry. Could it need a new switch unit? Any help would be appreciated. Can this switch unit be returned if its not the problem?

Gary, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty control board which will be part number W10804121. You will want to put the unit into a heat cycle and check to see if there is 120 vac getting to the heater. If there is not then the control board will be the most likely cause.

Hello Jeff. Control is programmed to stop the current cycle and not allow any further cycles if it suspects a faulty heater (no temperature increase detected in heated intervals). Control blinks the Clean LED 7 times in repetitive fashion and disables the Start/Resume key until cleared. Running Diagnostics clears the control and allows it to operate again. If heating problem is not corrected though, the control will stop running again on next cycle.
