Adrian December 02, 2015 for Model Number ED25PEXHB00 The right door is a little low and sometimes it remains open. I can see the metal part at the top of the hinge. Should I change something on the top or on the bottom?

Sherry July 31, 2013 for Model Number ed5vhexvq03 My whirlpool refrigerator door makes a popping noise when I open or close it. The noise seems to be coming from the bottom hinge. What parts do I need to replace?
James December 01, 2012 for Model Number GD22DFXFW02 I am not getting any water from the dispenser on the door. The switch seems to be ok and there is water going to the ice maker. How does the water line feed to the dispenser on the door? Does it go through a door hinge?
1 Answer Hello James, You are correct. The water line goes up through the door hinge. You should disconnect the water line at the connector behind the kick panel and see if it will dispense there. If it will, the water line is most likely frozen in the door. If it doesn't dispense there, the water tank behind the crisper drawers is probably frozen. Removing the drawers and putting a hair dryer in there for about 15 minutes pointing toward the water reservoir will normally thaw it out. In the case of either line being frozen, the freezer temperature should be set warmer and the refrigerator side should be set colder to increase air circulation. This will prevent the cold air migration which causes the water tank to freeze. If the water doesn't come out at the bottom of the door and the water reservoir isn't frozen, the larger water line can be removed from the bottom of the water valve and get someone to hit the dispense button momentarily. If no water comes out of the valve, the water inlet valve W10408179 will require replacement to restore normal operation. Read More...
