Whirlpool lsr7233eq0 washing machine was leaking out the bottom Jerald F. • Laud Lakes , FL • April 05, 2015
I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. None of the hoses were leaking - no evidence of corrosion or water mineral residue at any of the hose fittings. So, it must have been something else. I studied the parts diagram for the washer tub assembly and concluded the source of the leak almost had to be the outer tub's Centerpost Gasket. It was really the...

The Door Seal is an OEM part for Whirlpool dryers. It forms a tight seal around the dryer door, preventing heat from escaping and ensuring efficient drying performance. This seal helps to maintain the internal temperature of the dryer, optimizing energy use and improving drying results.
Causes of a bad door seal can include wear and tear from regular use, damage due to improper handling or cleaning, or deterioration over time. A compromised door seal can affect the efficiency of the dryer and lead to potential safety issues.
Symptoms of a bad door seal include:
- Heat escaping from the dryer door
- Longer drying times
- Higher energy consumption
- Visible wear or damage to the seal
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

The door gasket was broken and was tearing cloths David M. • Lima , OH • December 19, 2019
I replaced the gasket. Removing the old one was not easy. I used a razor knife to cut out most of it. And then I used rubbing alcohol to soften the remaining glue and scrapped it out with a small blade screwdriver

Whirlpool direct driver washer leak caused by basket drive shaft wear Philip L. • Columbia , MD • November 15, 2019
In reality, this turned into a full-on rebuild project - with several parts orders, not just a simple repair. But I have to give credit: The parts listings with pictures on the AppliancePartsPros web site were really useful in figuring out what was going on inside the machine, and what parts I would need.
Also: The repair videos were critical for me to be able to ensure I was reassembling everything correctly. Shout out to Simon, who was featured in several of the repair videos. His "gorgeous...

The Shaft Seal is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. This seal is designed to fit around the shaft that connects the tub to the transmission or motor, preventing water from leaking out of the tub and into the machine's internal components.
Causes of damage to the Shaft Seal often involve normal wear and tear from regular use, as the constant motion of the shaft can gradually degrade the seal.
Symptoms of a bad Shaft Seal include:
- Water leaking from the underside of the washing machine, particularly during or after a wash cycle
- A noisy operation, especially during the spin cycle, can sometimes result from water leaking into the bearings and causing them to fail
- The presence of rust or corrosion around the area where the shaft enters the tub
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.

Not spinning clothes dry Marjorie S. • Lansing , NC • December 16, 2017
Replaced clutch assembly, gearcase input shaft seal and motor coupler. When I disassembled the washer I realized the shaft seal on the top of the gearcase was leaking and not the input shaft seal. So had to order more parts before I could finish this job. Altogether I replaced agitator dogs, both seals on the gearcase, the clutch assembly and the motor coupler.
Agitator dogs replacement is a very easy job, no tools required, takes less that 5 minutes and made a huge difference with how well...
