This is a genuine ignition module for Husqvarna engines on select outdoor lawn equipment. The ignition module includes the ignition coil and spark plug connector in a single piece. This module is used to transfer the electric charges from the flywheel magnets. This ignites the fuel-air mixture in the cylinder and creates the combustion that powers the engine. Over time, the ignition module can become worn or the spark plug connector can snap off or get damaged, causing a need for replacement.
