This is the second time I replaced the board and when I took it apart, I moticed I didn't have the foam seal in place. I either didn't receive one with the new part or I didn't realize it it needed to be there. Removed dishwasher to replace spray arm pine--I replaced washer on pipe, too, and would recommend doing this just on principal. Removing dishwasher requires disconnecting power, water, and drain line--tools will vary depending on connections. i replaced drain line because original install was not done correctly--hose too short--You could probably do just this w/o pulling unit.
