Dishwasher won't drain or shows E24/E25 error? The drain pump removes water after wash cycles. Moderate DIY repair with video guide available.
Water was left in the bottom of the dishwasher after each time we ran it and the dishes were no longer getting clean. Also, there was always soap left in the dispenser. I took the DW completely apart and determined the water was not being forced out of the discharge tube and was merely draining via gravity. I ordered a replacement drain pump and removed the entire motor/pump assembly from under the DW. Once the pump was replaced and the DW was put back together, the water now was forced out... Read more

This was a dishwasher swap out. I first turned the water off to the inlet hose of the dishwasher from underneath the sink. Removed the inlet water hose from sink to dishwasher. (use wrench or adjustable wrench) Then removed the screws securing old dishwasher from the cabinetry. I then pulled out the dishwasher from the cabinetry hole it was in. I unplugged the power cord from the wall of the old dishwasher. Then Ii removed the other end of inlet hose still attached to old DW (braided stainless... Read more

First - shut off water valves & unplugged electric. Second - opened up back of washer & removed top part as well. Third - turned hot & cold water back on one at a time to see where the leak was coming from...lucky for me it was the inlet valve which was right there at the back of washer. Turned water off again. Fourth - located part on internet - and found you & ordered part but not before I went to Lowe's and called local appliance part stores to see if I could find...did not...came home and... Read more

I looked online and found a number of repair videos. The one from AppliancePartsPros was the most clear. I initially went to Amazon to get the part but the delivery on it was unacceptable. I googled the part and found AppliancePartsPros. It was cheaper than Amazon and arrived MUCH more quickly. When it came time to do the repair, we watched the video again. The repair went VERY smoothly! Read more
Dishwasher door loose or cracked when opening? This handle replacement clips into place on the fascia panel. DIY-friendly repair in 15-20 minutes.
The old fascia had broken and been torn off. I should have saved the buttons from it, but I didn't know that I'd be repairing it - I figured I would have to replace the unit. Well, money is tight, so I got the model number from the unit and looked up parts online. I couldn't find the exact model number on this site, but the picture of the fascia looked just like the picture in my manual, so I bought it, a handle strip, and a new set of buttons. I pulled the stainless panel off the front, then... Read more

My 18+ year old Jennair cooktop, PN CCG2520W was in need of a rebuild b/c of a welded venturi tube on the right front [RF] burner. In order to remove the glass top cover, you MUST remove the venturi tube. To do this you have to DRILL-OUT the venturi tube which requires a new venturi and orifice holder. The repair was difficult b/c most of the parts are no longer available. But then I found a ray-of-hope. I was able to find some Jennair (Maytag) parts but they are scarce. Later I found... Read more
Secures the hose between pump and heater in your dishwasher. Replace if loose, damaged, or causing leaks. Confirm fit with your model number.
On my Bosch she55m15uc/64, the cycle would take 3-4 hours, with the machine stuck on "1 minute" for a long time. The interior was getting moldy and smelly, and the dishes had a white film. At first, I thought it was the heater relay on the control board, but I pulled that relay and it seemed to be working. I could get an ohmmeter on the heater element without taking the bottom off the dishwasher, and the resistance was infinite. Replacing the heater did the trick. On my unit there was a... Read more
