Questions & Answers

For Ge Control Panel Asm - Stl (Part Number: OEM11649915)

Chris, yes, the issue would be in the WB27X10866 / WB27X10866 Pwb(pcb) Asm Sub. The knob and shaft are an encoder circuit in the control board used for setting and controlling the convection and combination cooking mode(s) temperatures, etc. Unfortunately, the part is presently out of stock and will need to be ordered from the manufacturer. There will be a delay in the delivery time, once you place the order Thanks,

Wesley, Most common issue for a dead display is the fuse on the filter board WB27X10519. Check for continuity on this fuse. If it is open then usually a door switch has failed and they need to be replaced as a set.

Re: MW touch pad buttons - some are not working -Vent Fan, Cancel, Conv Bake, Conv Roast, COMB Fast Bake. The MW heating function works, but to close it, need to unplug the MW. The Display light is also dim. At first we thought it was the FUSE, but given that the other buttons are working, then it can't be the fuse. So must be the control panel. Would like to order this but it seems you don't have part number WB07X10977 available. Please can you help check inventory? If you need to order, how soon do you expect to receive?

Susan, if you could please contact our ordering department at 1-877-477-7278, they will be able to give you a more accurate timeframe on this part.

Wil, You will want to check the fuse that is behind the control panel to make sure that it is not blown. If it is then this will need to be replaced and will need to check the door switches on the unit.

Wife was defrosting with the MW and she turned on the over the range light and the entire unit went out. No lights, no panel. I unplugged it and checked the breaker and it hadn't tripped. Checked continuity on the light and fuse and they were good but I replaced them anyway. Still no response. I took the control board off and the key panel. The wiring diagram inside the unit said to check for continuity on the end of the ribbon connector between the key panel and the smart board. I do not have continuity using any combination of the terminals (1 thought 11) on that ribbon connector.

Russ, On the key panel test you will test specific terminals on the harness based on the chart and will have to push the key in order to get continuity. If this test is still not showing any continuity then the keypad would be the issue for buttons not working but would not cause the display to be dead. You will want to test the thermal cutoffs that are on the unit for continuity.
