The Black Glass Door is an OEM component for Whirlpool gas and electric ranges. It provides a clear viewing window into the range's oven cavity through the locked upper door. The glass measures approximately 20-5/8 by 29-5/8 inches
The glass door can become damaged due to accidental impact, thermal stress, or general wear and tear over time. Breakage or cracking can occur if the door is closed too forcefully or if heavy objects fall against it.

DIY. The delivery to Milwaukee took two days. The project was very easy and took about 1hr. The only tools required were a screw driver (electric) and a pliers. Just make sure your irganized with the screws so you don't lose any or mix up which ones go back in which holes. There's about 20 total screws. The hardest part of this repair was a) realizing that the easiest way to clean the oven door pieces is to remove the whole door and b) figuring out how to put the oven door back on. Doing (b) is infinitely easier if you stick two allen wrenches into the holes in the door hinge, but these holes ONLY appear when the door is fully open.
