Fix F1 error codes and temperature control issues with this oven temperature sensor. Takes about 15 minutes to install—just 2 screws and plug-in wiring.
First of all Appliance Parts Pros is the best!! I would not have had the confidence to make this repair myself without their outstanding videos and Q&A sections on their website. And their prices for parts are very competitive. Like many stories on the website, my oven would heat up beyond the temperature set point. When it reached the target temperature, the lower heating element (I think this is the “bake” element) would shutoff, but the top element (“broil” element I believe) would remain on... Read more
Oven not heating properly or showing F3 error? The temperature sensor likely failed. Simple DIY fix—unplug, remove 2 screws, replace sensor.
Online videos made this seem an easy fix. I unplugged the oven and removed the rear panel, then found where the temp sensor entered the oven. I unplugged the sensor's electric connector. Unlike the videos, this sensor screwed in from the inside of the oven, so I had to remove the 2 screws inside the oven which hold the sensor in place. Then I pulled the sensor out, careful not to tear the insulation with the wires and connector. Then I just pushed the new connector through the same hole and... Read more

The part for this model is AP6022801 or WPW10545255. I spoke with technical support but I still had questions. I... Read more

Microwave won't turn on or has no power? A blown fuse is often the cause. This safety component protects against electrical surges and short circuits.
I have a Jenn-Air microwave that didn't turn on and had no lights. It just stopped working completely. I unplugged the unit and had to remove the rear cover using a *security screw kit* that prevents people from opening the rear panel. Once opened, I removed the fuse and testing it with an OHM reader to determine that the fuse went bad. But I also had to determine why the fuse blew and noticed a sticky oily substance under the Capacitor. I used a rubber glove and needle nose pliers to... Read more
