The board does not work or is not responding...thoughts? thanks Kenny could you email me?
1 Answer Kenny, Once you push the ribbon harness into place then you will push the connector part down and lock it in. Once this is done then power the unit on. If you do not push the connection down then it will not make the contacts on the control. Read More...

We've tried to detach the ribbons from the front panel but can't figure out how to. Thanks.

Vio September 23, 2013 The buttons on the control panel (membrane pn W10207928) failed one by one and now only a couple work. I plan to replace the part above to rectify but I,d like to check first if really the membrane is the problem. How could I check the membrane?I removed it already from the stove. Thanks
1 Answer Vio, Unfortunately, you didn't attach the model number of your range, and this manufacturer usually doesn't have a key pad matrix, needed to test the membrane. Based on your post description, your key pad/membrane switch is the most likely issue, and the place to start. It is subjected to heat from the oven and the cooktop, as well as the basic household cleaning compounds which does affect the key pad circuits. Read More...

1 Answer Judy, You will want to check the wiring of the unit. You will want to refer to the wiring diagram to ensure that the there is not a programming mode that you have to do and make sure that the unit is wired per the wiring diagram. If this checks ok then it sounds like a bad control board. Read More...
