We replaced the main circuit board and the LED started to work and the condenser fan worked, but all we had were relay clicking sounds, but no cooling. The compressor had become so hot trying to work when the main circuit board was amiss, that it had popped the over temperature sensor on its side. 1) Unscrewed the metal pieces behind the switch panel. You'll notice 3 screws. Afterwards, I realized that I just needed to remove the screws to the left and right of the switch box. The box then slides out. Snapped the old cover off and installed the new one. Although this is a simple fix the hard part was to determine appliance product year. Apparently the part was redesigned after a certain year and two types were available. There is a label underneath the hood that contains various information such as serial number etc. There may also be a product date code which is what you need to determine manufacturing information. • Light not working

I pulled out the wiring harness for the bulb and really inspected the sockets. (The wire connections on one of the sockets were really loose and the inside of that socket was a little melted.) I replaced the light wiring harness and sockets. It was a really simple fix. I turned off the power to the range hood at the breaker box first. I removed the filters and the light bulbs. Disconnect power, remove panel that covers motor/fan wiring, take some pictures of wiring connection, unplugged wiring, removed motor bracket, replaced new motor in brackets, reinstalled all components. Read more

I removed the screen over the exhausted fan, use a socket to remove bolts disconnected power cable and pulled assembly out. I merely install assembly in reverse order. 20 minutes top for repair, saved at least $90 service charge not including their cost for the part. Easy fix. Read more
