While trying to fix the problem I broke the knob. Appliance Parts Pros.com had the part delivered in 2 days! After looking at the video I decided there was a poor ground at burner #1. Removal of burner confirmed my suspicion. Years of use “spills” has insulated the burner from a good ground, thus preventing a good spark. Removal of black residue cleared the problem. I am now in the process of cleaning the remaining 4 burners just to be sure.

The Clock Knob Kit is an OEM replacement part for GE ranges. It contains the necessary knobs to control clock and timer functions from the control panel. This 3 pack of range clock knobs is all you need to cover one timer control. Color: Black. Each knob measures about 1/2 an inch in diameter, and 1 inch deep
Symptoms of faulty knobs include:
- Knobs no longer stay securely attached to shafts
- Issues selecting timer options or adjusting clock settings

Replaced above parts, easy to do, looks like a new stove. Needed to pry open knob stem slot segments very slightly to remove broken plastic from previous knobs. We recently purchased a house with Jenn-Air appliances. The previous owner had used something to clean the knobs on the stove that removed the imprint. Ordering these was easy, they fit with no problem and are manufacture initial product quality. Very Pleased.
The only suggestion I would have is to provide instructions on how to install the oven door gasket. I have not attempted that yet but will soon.

Had to replace the switch for the left rear burner on a Whirlpool cooktop Model W5CE3625AB00. I turned off the circuit breaker for the cooktop and lifted it out of the countertop. It was simply held down by its own weight. There were approximately a dozen screws holding the smooth surface down onto the rest of the unit.
