Since I had already done 5 batches and the timing was always the same, I knew when I had to add 20 min, something was wrong. I wanted to get the upper oven baking element replaced; it hasn't been working for a few months. This double oven has had two other issues, there is a fan that comes on to cool the electronics panel, That fan has made excessive noise and it operates for 2-3 hours after the oven turns off. The other problem with the oven is the Self-Cleaning feature runs for about 15-30 minutes and then turns off with an error code. Spoke to a parts pro and told them of the problem. there were 2 possibilieies from the explanation of what the parts do. onw could have been the Range oven igniter. that wasn't it beaacause the over was lighting fine. by process of illimination it was the Oven Sensor Assembly. Read more

Replacing head burner d solved the problem. The 8 year old original developed a mild warp, replacing it was the solution. GE gas cook top Model JGP933SEK1SS. I replaced the other burner caps for a cosmetic renewal. Read more

Easy fix. Both elements replaced while I was at it, so all new. Figured if one went the other was going to follow. CIRCUIT BREAKER OFF. Removed the back metal panel with my nut driver for the hex head screws. Note where the panel may slip under tabs for support. Remove slip on electrical connections on upper and lower elements. May need a pliers. (I did not want to just pull the element and the wires into the oven with the element and remove them there, like a technician would do. After 15... Read more

Once I received the element within three days, I simply removed the other element by unclipping and unplugging lugs in rear. Placed the new one in clips and connected lugs and all was good! Read more

After 5 igniter replacements, I've gotten pretty good at this. Less than 30 minutes start to finish -- including mopping under the range, etc. You need one hex driver for the whole job -- 3/8" I believe. 1. Remove all of the racks and the oven door. Remove the bottom panel inside the oven. Now unscrew the flame cover (4 hex screws), remove, and unscrew the old igniter (2 hex screws). 2. Pull the oven away from the wall. I wasn't sure if it was the heating element surface, the receptacle or the switch. My wife does some canning so it had some good use. It turned out to be the receptacle. I purchased the element as well thinking it needed replaced anyway. All works now. All three items are/would be easy to change. Read more

Ordered the burner bowls from you (after purchasing some locally that did not fit and were very flimsy). These bowls were very well made and fit perfectly. Heavy construction. Appears they will last a long time. Will order anything for my appliances from you in the future. Read more
